Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies Ltd offers customers the chance to make purchases via our web site. The web site contains a selection of our most popular products from our wide range of Hair and Beauty supplies, including brands such as Affinage, GHD, Alfaparf, L’Oreal, TIGI, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Hive, Salon System, Denman, Revlon, Kaeso, Crazy Angel and more.
Remember if you can’t find what you want online; you can call or visit one of our stores where our friendly and helpful staff will be happy to help.

How to order

Purchasing on Gainfort Hair and Beauty web site is simple, quick and secure. Browse through the different product categories to view the wide range of products available or search for a product in the search box. You can also shop by Brand by using the ‘Brands’ filter on the left hand side of the page or by using the ‘Tags Trending’ filter.  If you are looking for more information on the product, simple click on the image of the product or the Read More button beneath.

To add a single product to your order, click add to cart without entering a total then it will automatically add just one item to your shopping cart. If you want to order more that one of each item, enter the total amount you want to order in the box beside the product and click on the “add to cart” button beside the product. This places the items in your shopping basket, and shows you a confirmation message. To see what you have in your shopping cart, simply click on the ‘View Cart’ tab at the top of the page.

To remove a product from your basket use the ‘X’ button or to adjust the quantity you can choose more or less by using the plus and minus symbols on each product. When you have added to your cart all the products you wish to buy, you will be ready to complete your order.

Please check that you’ve selected the required size of each product, and placed the required quantity and any related products you need in your cart. Check the total value of your order. As a retail customer the total you see is inclusive of VAT. If you are logged in as a Trade Customer, the VAT will be added to your total at the end before you complete a payment transaction. Remember your order will be delivered free if over €60.00+vat and less than 30 kilos (excludes furniture and equipment, we do not ship outside of Ireland).

If you have not already registered with us for a Trade account, please complete the registration form, where we collect your Business details. Your request for a trade account will be reviewed and we will be in touch with you once approved, please allow 24-72 working hours for a response. Please allow for delays if submitting your request on the weekend.

As a retail customer, you can set up your account by using an active email address and creating a password of your choice. By registering with us online you agree to allow us to contact you by email or phone. We do not offer your details to any third party company.

Information about our customers is carefully protected as required by data protection and consumer legislation.

When you are happy with your order, click “checkout.” Your order will be acknowledged by e-mail shortly afterwards.
Next, enter your credit card, debit card or PayPal details on our payment page. Your credit card details are very secure as we use Stripe to record your details and take payments.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and all major debit cards. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, this is fine, just call us on +353 53 9123681.(Mon-Fri, 9-5)  (Please note: we must have cleared funds before goods are dispatched).

Special Offers

Special offer prices shown may be “online exclusives only” from time to time, and/or in store/online deals. Online exclusives are not available for purchase in Gainfort Hair & Beauty Stores. To avail of the offer you must place your order online and have it delivered to your store or you must collect it from one of our stores.

Special Offers cannot be used with any other promotion (example: 10% first order discount does not apply to discounted offers).

Vat Free Sale Days Explained

Throughout the year, we randomly run VAT free day sales. This means we discount selected items in line with the rate of VAT. The VAT is still paid on these items, the discount you receive is an internal one provided by us.

For example, if a product costs €10.00 +VAT the total you normally pay is €12.30. During our VAT Free Sales, we reduce the price down to €8.13 +VAT so the total you pay is €10.00, which is the same as the original price, but without the VAT.

VAT Free discount does not apply to delivery charges and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, Multibuy or discount. Offer excludes GHD, NSI, Gellux, a selection of the TIGI range gift vouchers, training books, courses and kits. VAT registered customers can claim back the vat on their invoice. To comply with the law, we must still charge VAT on the invoice, therefore we offer a discount instead. Goods purchased on VAT free days must be paid for on the day – no credit is given on VAT free purchases.

Salon Furniture & Equipment

If you are ordering salon furniture or equipment, we will inform you of the estimated delivery time shortly after receiving your order. As these items are not dispatched by our couriers, they may therefore take a little longer to deliver. A delivery charge will apply to all salon equipment ordered. This will be quoted based on item specifics.

Kerb Side Delivery
For large items and/or orders you are advised to have assistance on hand as couriers will only deliver to premises kerb side and will not enter premises or deliver up or down stairs. If you require assisted delivery into premises or up or down stairs please contact us so we can make suitable arrangements. An excess delivery charge will apply for this service. You must ensure that any obstacles, such as doorways, are catered for.

Trade Customer Status

By ordering products from us you are confirming that you are a qualified Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist, Make-Up Artist or Nail Technician, and as such are competent in using the products sold on this website. We will not be held responsible for any injury or damages incurred by unqualified users of our products. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status, where purchases of chemicals are concerned, and to refuse to fulfil an order if we believe the person ordering is not a trade customer.

Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies Ltd. reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on the site.

Exchanges and Refunds

Sending or bringing products back to us is no problem so long as they are returned within 28 days of delivery*, unused, in pristine condition and in their original packaging. Products can be returned or a credit note issued by posting the item back to Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies Ltd. at the address below. Refunds cannot be processed in store for online orders. Please ensure a copy of your packing slip/invoice accompanies the return. We will, of course, refund the cost of carriage if your product is faulty or if it is not what you ordered. However, we will require you to cover the cost of return in all other circumstances, and in addition your original delivery charge will not be refunded. If you choose to return the item to Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies, please allow up to 14 days for administration. We do not off exchanges on website sales, this simply means return your product for a refund and place a new order if you wish to buy an alternative product.

*Please note for furniture and equipment orders that are cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed, you will be charged 20% of the value of the goods as well as the delivery charge.

Due to hygiene regulations we cannot accept returns of clippers, scissors, tunics (uniforms), beauty implements, or razors if they have been used. We cannot accept returns of hair brushes, cosmetics, make up, nail laquer, acrylics, gels, gel polish, clippers, scissors, tunics/uniforms, hair extensions, beauty implements, razors, foot spas, ear piercing.

This list is not exhaustive. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Faulty Items

If an item you received is faulty, you must contact our Website Support Department on 053-9123681 within 48 hours of receiving the item.

If a fault has developed within the manufacturer’s warranty period, a repair, exchange, or refund will be offered once the manufacturing faulty has been confirmed.

In cases where the fault (or cause of fault) is not apparent, we reserve the right to send item for testing. This will usually be carried out by the manufacturer and their response will be required before any actions can be taken. We will notify you of the outcome and options available. If a manufacturing fault is not found, the item will be available for collection at your cost. . Faulty items will only be replaced provided the goods are in their original condition and have not been tampered with.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on any of the following items: hair brushes, cosmetics, make up, nail laquer, acyrilics, gels, gel polish, clippers, scissors, tunics/uniforms, hair extensions, beauty implements, razors, foot spas, ear piercing.

If we are unable to replace an item you will be offered a credit note to the value.

Some form of recorded delivery is recommended as we cannot be responsible for items that could be mislaid in post or transit.

Delivery

Delivery Address: 

You have the option to give a different delivery address to the invoice/card address. This means that you can have the parcel sent to, for example, your workplace or to a friend as a gift. Please try and give an address where there will be someone present to sign for your order between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Goods Damaged On Delivery
When you receive your parcel or pallet always sign it ‘UNCHECKED’ unless the driver is prepared to wait as you check your order to see that no goods have been damaged in transit. In the case of salon equipment it is best to open each box and check for damages before the driver leaves. If you notice any damages please report it to us on 353 53 9123681 within 48 hours of receipt of delivery as any claims made after this time cannot be entertained.

 

Delivery Rates: 

Republic of Ireland  & Northern Ireland

We offer free delivery on all orders placed which are over €60 + VAT.

Next day delivery

Our Standard delivery option is Next Day Delivery (this does NOT include furniture and equipment items).  The charge for this is €7.50 + VAT (€9.25). We only operate next day delivery Monday to Friday – we don’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. If your order is placed after 1pm on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, it will not be dispatched until Monday afternoon for delivery that Tuesday. On weekdays, if your order is placed before 1pm, your parcel will arrive at its destination the following day. We deliver all across Ireland both North and South. We do not ship outside of Ireland.

We use DPD as our chosen courier service.

If you order an item which is out of stock we will notify you via email with an estimated timeframe for when we expect it back in stock.

In the event that goods are ordered and paid for but not in stock we will notify via email with an estimated timeframe for when we expect  back in stock. If you’re happy to wait we will ship the goods to you as early as we can, if not we will offer a full. Please not from time to time the stock levels indicated on our website may not be 100% accurate.

Furniture and Equipment

Please note special shipping rates apply to the delivery of furniture and larger equipment items. These items are not covered under our standard next day delivery and normally we aim to deliver within 14-28 days depending on the item. If you have a query about how long it is likely to take for a particular item to be delivered to you, please email us on support@gainfort.com and we will provide you with an estimated delivery date along with a quote for shipping the item to you.

Collect in Store

You can use the convenience of our online shop to place your orders with us and simply select our ‘Collect from Store’ delivery option. The same rule applies here as with our Next Day Delivery, any orders placed before 2pm will be ready for collection the following day. You can select to pick up your order from either our Wexford or Waterford stores. This means you can still avail of some of online exclusives and promos while saving on delivery charges.

Privacy

Gainfort  Hair & Beauty is committed to protecting your privacy. When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the card’s expiry date and CVV code. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders. We also ask for your telephone number, which enables us to contact you if there is a problem with your order and also for your credit card details. This information is held securely and Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies Ltd. complies with the applicable Data Protection and consumer legislation. We treat all your personal information as fully confidential.

When ordering you have an option to register for an account. This is where your details are collected and maintained. We also ask you about your business type and for your agreement to occasionally notify you about offers and events at Gainfort Hair & Beauty Supplies, Gainfort Academy and Gainfort Salon Design. If you would rather not receive this information then please click on the box to remove permission.
Registering with us makes it easier and quicker for you to order from us on your next visit. We do not pass your information onto other companies.
